Refund and Digital Products Policy

Last Updated:  24 August 2026

4.1 Scope

This policy applies to digital products sold by Orchid Bloom Lab™, including:

  • electronic books;
  • educational guides;
  • bench guides;
  • workbooks;
  • checklists;
  • calendars;
  • schedules;
  • templates;
  • printable resources; and
  • bundled digital downloads.

4.2 Nature of Digital Products

Digital products are normally made available immediately or shortly after payment.

Because a digital file cannot practically be returned once it has been downloaded, accessed or delivered, purchases are generally final and non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons.

Before purchasing, please review:

  • the product title;
  • description;
  • intended audience;
  • contents;
  • file format;
  • sample pages, where available;
  • system requirements; and
  • price.

4.3 Situations Normally Not Eligible for a Refund

Subject to applicable consumer law, refunds will not normally be provided where:

  • you changed your mind;
  • you decided that you no longer need the product;
  • you did not read the product description;
  • you expected content not stated in the description;
  • you lack compatible software or equipment;
  • you accidentally purchased the wrong product but accessed or downloaded it;
  • you found similar information elsewhere;
  • you did not achieve a particular orchid-growing result;
  • you purchased a product during a later price reduction; or
  • you failed to download or use the product.

4.4 Situations We Will Review

We will review a request where:

  • you were charged more than once for the same transaction;
  • payment was taken but access was not provided;
  • the supplied file is corrupted or materially unusable;
  • the file supplied is materially different from the product purchased;
  • the product has a serious technical defect that we cannot correct;
  • an unauthorised transaction has been established through the payment provider; or
  • a refund or remedy is required by applicable law.

We may first attempt to resolve the issue by:

  • resending the download link;
  • supplying a replacement file;
  • correcting the file;
  • providing access in another available format;
  • offering store credit; or
  • providing another reasonable remedy.

4.5 Refund Request Period

Please contact us within 14 days of purchase after discovering an eligible problem.

A delayed request may still be considered where mandatory law requires it or where the problem could not reasonably have been discovered earlier.

4.6 Information Required

A refund or support request should include:

  • purchaser’s name;
  • purchaser’s email address;
  • order or transaction number;
  • product title;
  • purchase date;
  • description of the problem; and
  • screenshots or error messages, where relevant.

Send requests to [insert customer-support email].

Do not send complete credit-card or banking details by email.

4.7 Assessment of Requests

We may review:

  • transaction records;
  • download or access records;
  • previous replacements or refunds;
  • the nature of the reported defect; and
  • information supplied by the payment platform.

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a refund.

Where approved, a refund will normally be made through the original payment method. Processing times are controlled partly by the payment provider and financial institution.

4.8 Duplicate Purchases

Where records confirm that the same customer accidentally purchased the identical product more than once, we will normally refund the duplicate transaction, provided the request is submitted within a reasonable period.

Purchases of different editions, bundles or products covering similar subjects are not necessarily duplicate purchases.

4.9 Download and Compatibility Problems

Before requesting a refund, please:

  • confirm that the payment was completed;
  • check your email spam or junk folder;
  • try the original download link again;
  • try a current web browser;
  • confirm that your device can open PDF or other stated file formats; and
  • contact us for a replacement link or file.

A device-specific problem that can reasonably be corrected through a replacement file or ordinary technical assistance will not normally require a refund.

4.10 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.

We reserve the right to provide transaction, access and communication records to the payment provider when responding to a chargeback or payment dispute.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of future purchasing access.

4.11 Bundles and Promotional Products

A refund for part of a bundle will not normally be available after the bundle has been accessed.

Free bonuses have no separate cash value.

Where a full bundle refund is legally required or approved, access to all included products may be withdrawn.

4.12 Statutory Consumer Rights

This policy does not exclude, restrict or replace any consumer guarantee, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws applicable to you.

Where mandatory consumer law gives you greater rights than this policy, the mandatory law will prevail.
